This week in our Benefice
Last Sunday morning at 10.30am, our Holy Communion service was led by retired priest the Rev Ray Porter from Gamlingay. At the start of the service, former Churchwarden Wendy made an announcement to thank the congregation and particularly the current Churchwardens Hazel and Brendan, for all the support and love given to her during a long period of illness which she is now coming out of. Everyone wished Wendy a full recovery and a return to normal life once more as she has been missed in church. Next Sunday our service returns to Zoom as we cannot yet have our Family and Friends service, a service enjoyed by many families up to the time of Lockdown. We hope to bring it back into the schedules as soon as we can. The Zoom link will be sent to all participants during the coming week.
St Mary’s is open for private prayer on Monday, Thursday and Sunday of each week. Please follow the advice given in church for visitors regarding Covid-19 restrictions. Possible bookings for weddings, baptisms and funerals may be made by calling the church office on 01767 261202 or email to: email@example.com. The Church Hall will soon be available for bookings once more but if you have a future date in mind, please ring 01767 260430 to enquire availability.
