Pentecost

Another well attended service at St Mary's last Sunday morning was led by the Rector, the Rev Alex Wheatley, who rounded off the end of the Easter period with a view of what is to come in the coming weeks. The first Sunday in June, the 6th, will see the return of our popular Friends and Family Service which for the first time will be an open air service to be held on St Mary’s Field, weather permitting. The service will start at 10.30am and will be a service of Collective Worship including craft activities. All craft projects will be supplied in bags and families must remain socially spaced as they work and take part in the service. Tables will be supplied but all other items likely to be required, drinks, ground sheets etc, must be supplied by participants. The church musicians will accompany the singing following the Covid rules closely. Parking will be on the field. In the event of wet weather, the service will be held instead on June 13th at 2pm, again on the church field. Free attendance tickets, first come first served, must be booked from Liz Price, stating number in group and their ages. To book, Email: elizabethprice018@yahoo.com

We look forward to seeing the return of all our Friends.

A reminder that the Potton APCM meeting is this Thursday, May 20th on St Mary's Church at 7.30pm.
