Oh, that hot Sun!

I’m sitting here in the relative cool of my den to type this little report this week, away from the glare of the Sun and the hot air it produces. I was not able to attend the Sunday service this week due to family members testing positive but so far, I am clear. The service of Holy Communion was as usual, conducted by the Rev Alex Wheatley, our Rector who will also conduct next week’s Holy Communion service.

The Rev Alex, has also given us notice of a new Tuesday Holy Communion service, planned to take place in the St Mary’s church hall on the third Tuesday each month, starting on August 16th. A leaflet will become available soon with all the dates for the year ahead. The services are to take place at 12noon and will include refreshments and fellowship following the service.
