Pentecost on Line

In our Zoom service last Sunday, Rdr Simon guided us into Pentecost, leading us towards Trinity which starts next Sunday. This week, we had a very interesting sermon about Pentecost from Archdeacon Dave from Bedford, sent by video link but as usual the service overall was run by Rdr Simon but with the help of Churchwarden Darren from Sutton Parish, who was doing the technical bit! We had 25 connections this week with 36 people taking part including some new faces who were duly welcomed to our on line congregation. Next week’s ZOOM service for Trinity Sunday will start at 10am so we hope a few more new members can join us.

Any member of St Mary’s, or the Benefice overall, who is not on the Sunday Link mailing list and wishes to be able receive joining instructions to take part in these services, should contact the church office at benefice.com@gmail.com. Applications must be by email as there is no telephone link to the church office at this time.

As I write this, tomorrow sees more relaxation of the lock down rules and we hope people continue to take care as we enter this new phase but please remember, we still need to follow the social spacing rules. We continue to pray for an end very soon of this crisis in our World. Take care!
