Friends and Family service for Advent

Today was our Friends and Family service, preparing for Advent and Christmas. The service started with Wendy telling a story of a little donkey that found a baby sleeping in his manger when he went for his feed. He was not too pleased! After the first part of the service was over, activities started with all sorts of decorations being made for the Christmas Tree and other parts of the church. One of the main tasks today was to produce in double quick time, a "JOY TO THE WORLD" banner and this took many pairs of hands and was finished and displayed towards the end of the service. It was good to see so many people come along today and everyone joined in and enjoyed our service with a difference! Some of the photos of the activities can be found on our Facebook page.
