The New Week in our Benefice

Last Sunday, the morning service was Holy Communion, with a visiting Priest and next Sunday, September 1st, after a short summer break, we once more have our popular Friends and Families intergenerational activity service. All are very welcome.

Morning Prayer services will be held next week, at Sutton Church on Thursday, and on Tuesday and Friday at St Mary’s, all services at 9am. These services maybe cancelled at short notice if no leader is available. Our First Steps toddler and baby group meet as usual in the church hall at 9.30am on Friday. Details from Sandy on 01767 260430. Please note: First Steps will not be meeting on September 6th, as the hall is not available on that day.

Please note: The church office can now only be contacted on 01767 261202, please leave a message stating the reason for your enquiry, if necessary, and you will be contacted. E-mail: benefice.com@gmail.com

Don't forget, the Archdeacon, the Rev Canon Dave Middlebrook, is undertaking a two day Pilgrimage, visiting and praying at 18 churches en route. He will be visiting St Mary’s Church at 2.30pm on Wednesday August 28th, and would welcome any company on his next phase, the walk to St John’s at Cockayne Hatley. His full two day schedule can be found on our website or Facebook page.
