Biggleswade Deanery Pilgrimage, with Archdeacon Dave Middlebrook

August 14, 2019

The Archdeacon, the Reverend Canon Dave Middlebrook  is undertaking a two day pilgrimage visiting and praying at 18 churches, including St Mary's at 2.30pm on Wednesday 28th August.  He would welcome your company during the next part of his walk to St John, Cockayne Hatley, once he has prayed at St Mary's.  Timings may vary slightly."

The Archdeacon writes:

'Please find attached the planned route and (very rough) timings for my Biggleswade Deanery Pilgrimage on 28th and 29th Aug.

Please note that the times can vary enormously depending on who is walking with me – if anyone – and who is at each church – if anyone.

I’m very happy for people to meet me at the church – or not – and for folk to join me in walking – or not – for all or some of the route.

I look forward to walking and praying round the Deanery.

God bless, Dave'

Dave is not expecting to find every church open, or with a welcoming party, but he should be delighted to meet as many people as possible and visit your churches during his pilgrimage, and for morning prayer. Please inform your community of faiths of this pilgrimage; and encourage participation  and the opportunity to walk with our Archdeacon.
