The week in our Church

The morning service on Sunday was Holy Communion, with the Holy Baptism of Baby Darcey. The service was conducted by visiting retired Priest, the Rev Norman Young. Next Sunday, it will be our monthly short format Holy Communion with the Children's Treasure Boxes. However, during the service our own recently retired Priest, the Rev Gill Smith will give a special Blessing to Roz and David Tall in celebration of their 50th Wedding Anniversary. Following the service, members of the Congregation have been invited to join Roz and David in the Church Hall for a private celebration.

Morning Prayer services will be held next week, at Sutton Church on Thursday, and on Tuesday and Friday at St Mary’s, all services at 9am. These services maybe cancelled at short notice if no leader is available. Our First Steps toddler and baby group meet today as usual in the church hall at 9.30am on Friday.
