Katherine Sulch

It is with great sadness that we have heard this week of the passing on August 4th of a former prolific Church Member, Katherine Sulch at the age of 68. Katherine and Husband Richard, retired and moved away to Dawlish in October 2011 where Katherine soon became part of her new community. Whilst a member of St Mary's Church, Katherine had been a long serving member of the choir and the Mother's Union and was often to be found busy in the kitchen when we had any sort of "Do" going on! Locally, she held a high position in the Girl Guides and spent much time working with them at many events. Katherine had two children, Clare and David and as a congregation, we saw them grow from young children to fine young adults over the years that we knew them. They were a very close family and Katherine will be sorely missed by them.

The funeral will be held on August 19th at St Gregory's Church in Dawlish, at 2.15pm. It is to be family flowers only but donations are welcome to The Alzheimers Society via their website: www.alzheimers.org.uk, or if attending the service, they can be left in the retiring collection.

RIP Katherine, you will be sadly missed by all of us at St Mary's who knew you so well.
