Sunday afternoon in Cambridge

After the service last Sunday, a coachload of members from across the Benefice, set off for Magdalene College in Cambridge for a very nice Roast Advent Lunch prepared by the staff and served in the Masters Dining Room. This was later followed by a viewing of the film “The Theory of Everything” the life story of the late Prof. Stephen Hawking. He was of course in his early days, a student at Cambridge and was well known around Magdalene College in later years

. The film was shown in the nearby Cripps Centre. It was a very enjoyable afternoon, thanks to Bob Smith for organising it.
