The week to come, at St Mary's

The service next Sunday is our popular Friends and Family activity service for all ages. This involves not only traditional worship, but craft projects suitable for everyone to try. Please come and see for yourself, you’ll be very welcome. In the afternoon at 3pm, it is this year’s All Souls Service. If you are missing a loved one and want to come and join in this beautiful service of Bereavement and Remembrance, You will be very welcome. At 7.30pm, it is our monthly NightLight service of music, prayer and personal contemplation in a beautiful location. All are welcome.

Our First Steps toddler and baby group meet on Friday November 2nd as usual in the church hall at 9.30am. Details about the Group can be obtained from Group Organiser, Sandy, on 01767 260430. Our popular Craft and Chatter group will meet the same evening, as usual at 7.30pm, in the church hall. Details from 01767 260792. Any craft and as much chatter as you want for £2.50 which includes refreshments!

Morning Prayer services will be held next week, at Cockayne Hatley Church on Monday, Sutton Church on Thursday, and on Tuesday and Friday at St Mary’s, all services at 9am. All are welcome.

On Tuesday afternoon, we will say a very sad farewell to our late Organist, Judith Barker. Judith recently lost her battle against illness and passed peacefully away in Hinchinbrooke Hospital. Her funeral is on Tuesday at 2pm at St Mary's Church so please come and pay your final respects to a lovely, talented lady who will be sorely missed by us all.
