THIS SUNDAY EVERYONE, our favourite and one of our most popular services "Friends and Family" definitely one to attend as we prepare for Advent and Christmas. Simple but sincere worship and a host of jobs to do such as decorating the Christmas Tree. Please come and join us. Refreshments available throughout the work period.

Traditional Thanksgiving Evening

This week in our Church
The Rev Canon Lyndsay Dew the former Rural Dean for the Biggleswade district, officiated at last Sunday morning’s service of Holy Communion. In his sermon, the Rev Canon Lyndsay spoke of the eve of the new church year and “Stir Up Sunday” which is the last Sunday before Advent and because the dating of Advent varies a little from year to year, it can fall anytime between November 20th and 26th. The Next Parish Lunch
Next Friday, November 29th at 12.45pm, in St Mary’s Hall, the St John’s Hospice Moggerhanger, Potton Support Group, sponsored by St Mary’s Church, are holding their monthly Parish Lunch. There should be places available so why not come along and enjoy a delicious home cooked meal from a menu which offers 6 choices and a dessert for only £7. Raffle. This week in St Mary's Church and our Benefice
On Friday The service last Sunday morning was our monthly shorter format Holy Communion with the children’s treasure boxes. The service was conducted by our former Rural Dean, the Rev Canon Lyndsay Dew. The Rev Canon Lyndsay will also be officiating at next Sunday morning’s service of Holy Communion. A Musical, Singalong Evening with the "2Gs"
Last Friday evening, the "2Gs", Geoff and Graham, both keyboard players from the Church Music group, put on a great evening with audience participation, playing songs old and new, but all well known, with the audience singing along, or at least trying to! It was great fun and the audience of about 25 people had real fun trying to fit the words they thought they knew, in with the notes played by G&G, and mostly these notes were in the right order which kind of helped! This week in the Benefice
The weekend at St Mary’s started off with an evening of “Singalong” with the “2Gs” Geoff and Graham from our Church Music Group. Remembrance Day 2019 in Potton
Once again there was an amazing attendance at this morning's Service of Remembrance, In bright sunshine and with a dry, mild morning, the first part of the service led by Rdr Simon Gutteridge of St Mary's Church and Robert from the Salvation Army was on the Square, with prayers, readings and hymns. The week ahead in the Benefice
