Next Sunday, November 3rd, it is our popular monthly Service "Friends and Family", this month with the theme of Forgiveness and a Change of Heart. There will be the usual high level of activities for the children and a Morning Prayer Service for those who want a quieter time. Refreshments served throughout the activity period. The coming days in our Benefice
Next Sunday, the service at St Mary’s will be our very popular Friends and Family activity service with Wendy and her team, and Morning Prayer will be celebrated by those who enjoy this short service, within a service. The theme this month is “Forgiveness and a Change of Heart” All are very welcome. Having just celebrated All Saints Day, next Sunday, November 3rd is All Souls Day and St Mary’s will be holding a special All Souls Day service at 3pm led by Rdr Simon Gutteridge.

SING-A-LONG with 2Gs
Friday November 8th is the night for a new little venture, or maybe a big venture if lots of people come along! The 2Gs, Geoff Tomlinson and Graham Hague, our two keyboard players from St Mary's Music Group, are presenting an evening of popular music from the 60s and 70s which everyone should know and would love to sing to. Potton Parish Lunch supporting a local Hospice
On, Friday, October 25th at 12.45pm, in St Mary’s Hall, the St John’s Hospice Moggerhanger, Potton Support Group, sponsored by St Mary’s Church, are holding their monthly Parish Lunch. There should be places available so why not come along and enjoy a delicious home cooked meal from a menu which offers 6 choices and a dessert for only £7. Raffle. On Friday October 25th, we welcome our church organist, Nick Wilson for the second time this month, to the local airwaves as he is giving his “Thought for the Day” at 8.15am on BigglesFM, 104.8 on the dial. Nick has some great stories and anecdotes and is well worth listening to! In the absence of a Parish Priest at this time, Nick has agreed with BigglesFM, to give a fortnightly talk to help everyone keep in touch with events at the church until such time as a new Rector is

The Rest of the Week in Our Benefice
Next Sunday, the Rev Canon Lyndsay Dew will lead the shorter format service of Holy Communion with the aid of the Children and their treasure Boxes. All are welcome. Our First Steps toddler and baby group will be meeting on Friday, in the church hall at the usual time of 9.30am. Further details about the group from Sandy on 01767 260430. Morning Prayer services will be held next week, at Sutton Church on Thursday, and on Tuesday and Friday at St Mary’s, all services at 9am.

Yesterday at St Mary's Church
Last Sunday morning the Service of Holy Communion was conducted by the Rev Gill Orpin, one of our team of visiting Priests during our Interregnum. In her sermon, the Rev Gill spoke of the Prophesy of Jeremiah, how he became a Prophet and how this affected his life. TODAY - LITTLE STARS Part of the National Baby Loss Week
At 6.30pm today Sunday October 13th, we are once again holding our “Little Stars Service”, an evening of Support and Remembrance to commemorate the loss of a baby or young child and to allow those who have lost a young one to share their feelings with others. This is a lovely service, part of the National Baby Loss Week, organised by people who themselves have suffered a loss, and all who have had this happen are very welcome to join us and maybe stay and have a chat after t
