Friday November 8th is the night for a new little venture, or maybe a big venture if lots of people come along! The 2Gs, Geoff Tomlinson and Graham Hague, our two keyboard players from St Mary's Music Group, are presenting an evening of popular music from the 60s and 70s which everyone should know and would love to sing to. On, Friday, October 25th at 12.45pm, in St Mary’s Hall, the St John’s Hospice Moggerhanger, Potton Support Group, sponsored by St Mary’s Church, are holding their monthly Parish Lunch. On Friday October 25th, we welcome our church organist, Nick Wilson for the second time this month, to the local airwaves as he is giving his “Thought for the Day” at 8.15am on BigglesFM, 104.8 on the dial. Nick has some great stories and anecdotes and is well worth listening to! Next Sunday, the Rev Canon Lyndsay Dew will lead the shorter format service of Holy Communion with the aid of the Children and their treasure Boxes. All are welcome. Our First Steps toddler and baby group will be meeting on Friday, in the church hall at the usual time of 9.30am. Further details about the group from Sandy on 01767 260430. Last Sunday morning the Service of Holy Communion was conducted by the Rev Gill Orpin, one of our team of visiting Priests during our Interregnum. At 6.30pm today Sunday October 13th, we are once again holding our “Little Stars Service”, an evening of Support and Remembrance to commemorate the loss of a baby or young child and to allow those who have lost a young one to share their feelings with others.
