On Friday we had the pleasure of handing over a cheque for £4000 to Harjot Kaur from St John's Hospice. this was the proceeds for the Parish Lunches held in Potton in 2018. Harjot told us that once again we had come up with a remarkable sum which would go along way to help with their work at the hospice. The contents of the box help younger members of our congregation, to understand how each part of the Communion service works with an object which relates to it. As our last Chinese New Year Dinner was such a success, we are going to do it again! Please come and join us on Saturday 9th February for another great evening at St Mary's Church Hall. We started this year with a message from our previous Rector, the Rev Wyn Beynon, now Priest in Charge of a large Benefice in Worcestershire. He told us he was honoured to have been appointed an Honourary Canon in Worcester Cathedral. Our congratulations were sent to him as we were very pleased for him.
