Greetings from Down-Under,  September 2011

I still get Sunday Link from Louise and Rev. Gill so do keep up-to-date with many things, but wasn't aware of Ilse Johnston’s passing away, nor Mr Jackson, nor about dear Freda Ansell in a care home.

We are all fine here, in fact Helen and David flew over from Perth for a brief visit this weekend, and I have attached a few photos of them.

It is quite cool here with the odd day getting near 20C but quite cold overnight. It is not unusual to have a frost first thing. We are looking forward to summer now whilst you are wondering where yours has gone I understand?

I have made contact with Wyn Beynon by EMail and he did reply, and of course I wished him well in his new ministry.

My Church ministry is very patchy at the present, but singing, (4 choirs now, including taking a new Barbershop group), MU activities, and Lions duties keep me busy. 'Road Watch' this Saturday - picking up rubbish along our 5 mile stretch of road, - last week spending 2 days painting a Lions' bus shelter, and next week doing a 'Sausage Sizzle' at the new Library opening in Strathalbyn. Come here to retire!

Please pass on my love and prayers to all, and I hope the 'Back to Church Sunday' is a great success. for you.

Looking forward to more news,

David and Eileen.
